This section details the additional services which New Medical Horizons, as a medical tourism provider, offers to our clients, before, during and post treatment. We have a great deal of experience in arranging and managing medical tourism holidays, and as such, we have a fair idea of the differing needs of each person. The additional services we offer to you, listed below, are designed to make your trip totally hassle-free and customized to suit your personal preferences.
 

Airline and hotel rates vary day-to-day, based on the dates you choose for your travel, bulk and pre-arranged bookings. We have excellent relations with commercial airliners and hotels the world over, which enables us to get massive discounts and arrange flights and hotel bookings at short notice during peak holiday seasons.

Depending on your personal preferences, number of accompanying guests and duration of stay, we can pre-arrange accommodation in your chosen destination, ranging from budget hostels and rented villas to 3, 4 and 5 star resort hotels. In some countries, we can arrange accommodations for you in 6 and 7 star hotels in needed!
You can decide your choice of airline, your choice of accommodation and provide us with details of your entourage. We’ll do the rest.

Passport and visa requirements for almost all major destinations are specified in the ‘Destination Guide’ section. Not everyone likes to wait for hours at a foreign consulate, explaining why you want to visit their country, and filling out a dozen forms. We can and do take care of these requirements on your behalf.

Pre-Travel Medical Consultation

Before you undertake the journey, should you wish to speak with the medical team in the destination country, we can arrange for a ‘consultation conference call’. The intention here is that you get to know the medical team, and they understand more about your physical condition, required treatment and any personal history, medical or otherwise, which a doctor needs to know. You feel more comfortable and

Depending upon circumstances and your previous credit history, we have relationships with lenders, which enable us to arrange financing for your entire trip, treatment and travel. We believe that the lack of available finances should not prevent you from obtaining needed treatment(s).

We can provide detailed paperwork about your medical treatment along with the required documentation from the medical center in your destination country, which you can forward to your insurance company. In case your insurance company needs some specific documentation, we are able to provide the required paperwork and will do our best to make sure that you bear as little as of the financial burden as possible. We will also ensure that your travel is adequately insured.

Our Overseas Program Director, based in the host country, is your designated guide and personal travel assistant. The OPD will take care of you, hang around to make sure that your every need is instantly taken care of, and guide you through every stage of your treatment and post-treatment recuperation. The OPD is also there to co-ordinate traveling arrangements and scheduled treatment sessions. The arrangements we will have made for you upon your arrival include:

• Airport pickup and private transportation straight to your hotel.
• Detailed briefing and discussion regarding your entire schedule.
• Transportation to and from the healthcare center for every treatment session.

We also provide our clients with an international cell phone and calling cards, enabling you to keep in touch with family and friends, besides helping you maintain communication with the local staff and medical team. Also included is a comprehensive and country specific travel brochure and travel tips to help you deal with dress codes, food and local cuisine, language help and currency use.

After you undergo the procedure, we will arrange to have your entire treatment case file transcribed and sent to your local doctor back home, in order to facilitate follow-up examinations and continued post-treatment care.

Now that your treatment is over and done with, it’s time to enjoy the pleasures offered by your host country. We will have arranged a relaxing post-treatment holiday for you. Inclusive of visits to the local tourist hot-spots, scenic tours of the country, shopping, wining and dining. Our local staff will arrange all the outings and be on hand to guide you all the way.

Everything you need, including private transportation to the airport and medical assistance, if needed, will be at hand, to ensure your safe departure.
